Do I get my original photos back?+
Yes. Scanning creates a digital copy — your prints, albums and negatives are returned after digitization, recounted against the inventory.
What resolution are my photos scanned at?+
Loose prints are scanned at 600 DPI, which is sharp enough to reprint at or beyond the original size. We can go higher for special items on request.
How long does photo scanning take?+
Most orders are returned within 7–10 business days. Large collections or restoration-heavy orders may take a little longer — we'll confirm timing at pickup.
Is pickup really free?+
Yes. Free pickup and return are included within about 30 miles of downtown Chicago. Outside that zone we can usually arrange a meet-up.
