Our service
Golden Hour Memory Co. digitizes and restores your physical photographs, slides, negatives and video tapes. We offer free pickup and drop-off within 30 miles of downtown Chicago. Orders are typically completed within 7–10 business days of pickup.
Pricing & payment
Package prices are listed on our pricing page and charged in full at checkout through Base44 Payments. Add-ons (extra photos, tapes, additional USBs, deep restoration) are billed after we count your materials, so you only pay for exactly what we scan. Any add-on balance is due before final delivery.
Pickup & return
We hand-count every item on pickup and again on return so you know nothing is lost. Your originals are returned with your digital order. We offer local pickup instead of shipping because these memories are irreplaceable.
Your responsibility
You confirm you have the right to digitize the materials you give us. While we handle everything with the utmost care, we are not liable for damage to items that arrive already severely degraded, fused, or too fragile to scan.
Cancellations
You can cancel an order before pickup for a full refund. Once scanning has begun, work already completed is non-refundable.
