Each frame is scanned individually with a dedicated film scanner, hand-cleaned and color-balanced. Originals stay local.

Your slides and negatives come back, plus a USB drive and a secure cloud download of every frame.

Free home pickup and return runs roughly 30 miles from downtown Chicago — including Logan Square, Hyde Park, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Oak Park, Evanston, Skokie, Cicero, Berwyn, Oak Lawn, Schaumburg, Naperville, Arlington Heights and Palatine. Outside that radius we can usually arrange a meet-up.

Can you scan both mounted slides and loose negatives?+
Yes — cardboard-mounted 35mm slides, glass-mounted slides and loose film negatives or strips all work on the same dedicated scanner.
What resolution are slides and negatives scanned at?+
High resolution — sharp enough to print at or beyond the original frame. We'll confirm exact settings for your order at pickup.
How long does slide and negative scanning take?+
Most orders are returned within 7–10 business days. Very large collections may take longer; we'll confirm timing at pickup.
Do I get my slides and negatives back?+
Always. Scanning creates digital copies — your originals are returned, recounted against the inventory, along with your USB and cloud download.
